April Is Youth Month

April is Youth Month at Barksdale Federal! All month long we will be celebrating our young members ages 17 and younger. Your child could win a pizza party and a personal laptop!* To enter the giveaway, sign your child up for a BFCU Youth Account or Buddy Banking service, and they will be automatically entered to win!

*2024 Barksdale Federal Credit Union Youth Month Pizza Party Giveaway. Promotion begins at 9:00 a.m. Central Time on April 1, 2024, and ends at 5:00:00 p.m. Central Time on April 30, 2024 (“Promotional Period”). Drawing will take place on the afternoon of May 7, 2024. Barksdale Buddy Member will be notified on May 7, 2024. No obligation necessary to enter or win. Non-obligation entries and obligation entries have an equal chance of winning. Promotion is open to BFCU members ages 17 and under. There are three (3) ways to enter: 1.) Automatic Entry: An eligible Barksdale Federal Credit Union member, age 1–17, will automatically receive one (1) promotional entry for each new youth account (Account Type: Barksdale Buddy, My Money Savings or Student) opened with a $5 deposit under eligible member’s name during the promotional period. Certain restrictions may apply to opening a youth account. Minimum opening deposit of $5 required. See Barksdale Federal eligibility requirements and Barksdale Federal youth account requirements. 2.) Automatic Entry: An eligible Barksdale Federal Credit Union member, age 1–17, will automatically receive one (1) promotional entry for registering for the Buddy Banking service. 3.) To enter without obligation by U.S. mail: Existing Barksdale Federal members, age 1–17, may enter the promotion without obligation via U.S. mail by hand-printing your name, address, city, state, ZIP code, and telephone number (including area code) on a BFCU Youth Month Coloring Sheet and mailing in a #10 envelope with postage affixed to: 2024 Barksdale Federal Credit Union Youth Month Pizza Party Giveaway, 2701 Village Lane, Bossier City, LA 71112. If the entry is for a minor, the following must be hand-printed on the card: “I have read and agree to the Official Rules of the 2024 Barksdale Federal Credit Union Youth Month Pizza Party Giveaway, and my child has my permission to participate in the drawing.” The name of the parent or legal guardian must be printed, signed, and dated. Mail entries must be received by noon on April 30, 2024, in order to be eligible. Prizes/Values: Four (4) winners will be chosen to win the following prize described herein: pizza party for their classroom, one personal-use laptop. Total Estimated Retail Value of the Grand Prize: $200. Odds: Estimated odds of winning the Grand Prize are determined by the number of entries.
